Sector for Natural Resources

The Department for the protection of natural resources perform the tasks related to:

• Air Protection;
• water protection;
• soil protection;
• implementation of international conventions, agreements, laws and other regulations related to protection of natural resources, air, water, land;
• participation in drafting strategic documents, plans and programs within the purview of the Sector;
• participation in the preparation of scientific basis in the development of regulations;
• proposing projects;
• participation in international cooperation;
• and perform other tasks within the purview of the Department
