Minister Oliver Dulić Visits the First Recycling Yard in Belgrade
The Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulić and Belgrade Mayor Dragan Đilas visited today the first Belgrade recycling yard located in Ada Huja.
- "Let's Clean up Serbia" campaign has been underway for several months and its results are excellent. The citizens understand the importance of waste separation and they will follow this principle only if we help them to do so. The campaign proved the existence of the secondary raw materials market and helped us to open new jobs as well as to develop new and profitable industrial sector which didn't previously exist in our country - said Minister Dulić
He announced that the new bylaws shall be passed in the following months and thus new economic instruments, including paying the fee to the collector for the collected waste, shall be introduced. Furthermore, Minister Dulić stressed that the Ministry shall open special waste processing plant.
Four new recycling yards are to be opened in Belgrade.
