Đerdap Celebrates Danube Day
The International Danube Day was celebrated yesterday in The Đerdap National Park by cleaning up the Boljetinska river canyon as a part of the campaign "Let's Clean up Serbia".
More than a hundred volunteers cleaned up the banks of Boljetinska River by collecting PET packaging and other litter. Wire containers for PET packaging were put on several locations in the National Park. The lecture on recycling was also organized for the participants.
The cleanup campaign was organized by the municipalities of Kladovo, Donji Milanovac and Golubac, the Fishermen Association and the Ministry of the Environment and Spatial Planning.
